Congratulations to Edward Hillery of Valencia,
California for getting the most votes at our annual "Pick-The-Float"
meeting.
The drawing on the left was submitted and
approved by Pasadena Tournament of Roses, making this our Design Contest
Winner!
Even before we received official approval Pasadena, we
started working on turning the concept into a float. The picture
on the right shows the beginning stages of changes.
The line drawing on the left builds the ideas the Design Committee is
exploring with some additional design considerations.
The line drawing on the right represent our fourth version now
incorporating many of the design changes discussed at our Design
Committee meetings. Click on any drawing to see a larger version
of the picture.
At our April General Meeting, the members voted to
called the float "Barnyard Aces"
The line drawing on the left is the final version before going to the
color rendering. There are a couple of elements left out, such as
the wheelbarrow and hay trough are not filled with flowers.
After many revisions and adjustments, we now have our final color
rendering.
