On Wednesday, May 14, 1997, the float construction
committee of Pasadena held their annual float builders' dinner to thank
the builders for participation in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses
Parade. The committee awarded "Builder of the Year" to the Burbank
Tournament of Roses Association. The award is given "in
recognition of excellence in float construction, cooperation with
Tournament committees, flowering, New Year's Eve move out, and the
successful completion of the 5-1/2 mile Rose Parade route on January 1,
1997." Congratulations to ALL!
